I was feeling a little reminiscent this weekend I think. I had thought of an old creative project we used to do as kids whenever there was a present to wrap. Using potato stamps my mom used to carve out for us, paint, markers and brown plain parcel paper from the Dollar Store. I always loved this so I just knew Ella our crafting extraordinaire would also love this.
I set her up on the dining room table and let her go wild… All you need is;
- Brown Parcel Wrapping Paper Found at The Dollar Store
- Twine, Ribbon, Yarn
- Paints
- Potato Stamps or regular stamps if you have them. We do not.
- Anything else that adds a pop of fun, stickers, markers, crayons, pom poms
We waited until the paint was dry and wrapped up her gift she had for Macy this Christmas. She was pretty stoked. It’s easy enough and kept her busy long enough that why not!? I love it when she lets loose with creative ideas and is busy having fun!
