Family Staycation At The Westin Grand
How crazy fast Summer has come and gone. This season our family didn’t get a chance to travel far away, but we love the area we live in so we made the most of what we had here. Starting with a week of close to home adventures and ending it with a relaxing family staycation at The Westin Grand. Only an hour drive for us. Perfectly close but far away at the same time. My hopes for this trip was to unwind with no background distractions to catch us in hectic chaos. Just to sit back and relax….
We had the best view of Vancouver right beside the Library and steps away from BC Place. At night it was lit up and it was breathtaking. Owen slept with the curtains open just so he could see the pretty lights! Our room was spacious enough for four people and set up nicely. The bathrooms had a separate shower and bathtub with lots of room!
We started our little venture with a walk around the block picking up treats and food for the night in. We got really lucky with some sweet sun so we headed back to the hotel and took a dip in the rooftop hot tube and salt water pool. We literally lounged in this area for the rest of the evening. The kids had a blast! The pool was just a perfect size for them to play in and around without us feeling fearful.
