Our Family Stay At Pacific Sands Beach Front Resort | Tofino

It’s not very often that our family finds the time to go on vacation. With Drew’s hectic work schedule and Owen in school right now it’s almost impossible to find time to sneak away. Somehow the stars aligned and we managed to do it. All thanks to BC Ferries and Pacific Sands Resort. We had the best time the four of us hanging out and just relaxing taking in all the quietness. It truly was exactly what this family needed!

We left bright and early on Saturday morning, catching all our time schedules perfectly (don’t ask how, I still don’t know how we managed) Ferry ride was beautiful and sunny with a lot of wind. We brought lots of games and fun things to do while our 2 hour ride to Duke Point. It was Ella’s first time travelling on the ferry and that alone entertained her for a long time. Her excitement poured out of her smile!

We honestly didn’t feel a huge need to go to far, we were just so relaxed and very content with just hanging out in the lovely house. The kids indulged in the jacuzzi tub upstairs and played outside most of the trip. While Drew and I just enjoyed our coffee watching them! Ella did accumulate a very big bucket of shells. Every morning we woke up bright and early not wanting to loose any time there. We wanted to spend every minute soaking this beautiful place up!

Just a little bit down the way is the Surf Side Grill, rentals and fire pits to enjoy at night! The full accommodations was beyond our expectations and this trip was family voted one of our best lets. If you ever get the chance to stay here when travelling to Tofino I highly recommend doing so. You can choose your stay from Beach House, Lighthouse Suites, Beach Front Suites, Lodge Suites to Sunset House. All located in front of the ocean and set up beautifully. Along the way there are lots of trails to discover and a board walk we loved exploring called Pettinger Point.
