Hey you guys!
I’m so excited about this DIY and it’s taken me a little while to share it on the blog. After weeks and weeks of gushing over letter ledges online, I seriously had the hardest time finding shops in Canada that made these. So Drew and I decided to try it out for ourselves.
We headed to our local Home Hardware and grabbed the following. White paint, command strips & 1/2″ depth strips of wood. The width and depth could be honestly up to you. I liked the smaller sized but also made sure there was enough room for the letters to stay put. Honestly it was the easiest project we worked on in awhile so it was really nice.
Once we got home Drew cut the piece of wood into strips of 18″ long, sanded them down just a touch, painted them and then we waited for them to dry overnight. Prior to purchasing the product I had went to Amazon and found some really cute looking letters that would be a perfect fit. Not to big and not too small.
What You Need:
- Heidi Swapp Letters
- White Paint
- Command Strips
- 18″ Long Strips of Wood 1/2″ depth (some places will even help cut into strips there)
It’s really something easy enough to do in a day!
