10 Reasons Why Goldendoodles Make For a Great Family Pet

You all have seen our Macy girl and have been watching her grow. If you follow me on Instagram you’re probably know how much we love her with all the IG stories and posts. But guys, this dog is our dream dog. She’s amazing. She’s all kinds of goodness. This girl is a handful, yes. I’m not going to deny that for one minute. She’s a puppy still so she’s all kinds of trouble. But beyond all that trouble I’m going to dish out why I think Goldendoodles are a great family pet. Even more so a great families first puppy.

We Got A Puppy | Meet Macy

Our family took the doggy plunge and have a new family member named Macy! Our first family puppy you guys and it feels amazing. It’s awesome! She is making all of our puppy dreams come true with endless cozy, cuddles and loving playfulness. I can’t say though it’s been entirely stress free she is a puppy after all. But after her second week home with us it’s been such a great feeling knowing she’s settled in.

Drew and I have been talking it over for sometime now and found amazing Goldendoodle breeders that put so much love and care into their puppies that it was an obvious choice to go through them and getting our first puppy!

We had made the initial visit beginning of September and by the third week she was home with us. She’s been growing like a weed already and sleeping through the night. She thinks my beautiful brand new expensive rug is the perfect pee pad, so that’s been a work in progress but other than that she’s been a great addition. The kids have fallen head over heels for her and learning all kinds of new responsibility when it comes to being dog owners.

They’ve been super helpful! It’s very exciting to have her home with us and now we are taking every opportunity to teach her and love on her. So you’ll be seeing a lot more of Macy in time to come my friends!
