Saturday & Sunday mornings are what my kids live for all week. That morning of sleeping in and waking up to the smell of waffles & strawberry sauce. We’ve been trying to gather around the table more since being home more. And the weekends are how we are making an effort more so.
Sunday morning I made snickerdoodle waffles, I’ve been making them forever and wanted to share our recipe. It’s so easy. The kids go nuts for them, and Drew. Plus, you gotta add in some whip cream. That’s how you really get into their morning hearts!
These are amazing! You have to try them! Below I’m also sharing my favourite Strawberry Sauce & Waffle Churros!

Waffle Churros Recipe
To add some sweetness, make them churros. By melting butter onto one plate and in another plate mix cinnamon & sugar. Take your waffle and coat with butter, then dip it into the cinnamon & sugar dish. It’s so good!
Homemade Strawberry Sauce
Frozen strawberries, sugar & water. I add on the stovetop my frozen strawberries, 1 tbsp sugar & 1 tbsp water. Make sure not to add too much water. Stir it all together and let it simmer. Once you notice the strawberries are thawed out turn the heat up just a little bit and let it thicken up until its a sauce consistency.
