Spring Has Sprung | Easter Gathering

We can from here on out just hope for good sunny & beautiful weather. Spring Has Sprung! Over the weekend we had the chance to have an early Easter Gathering with our dearest friends to celebrate with our little ones, watching them eat some sugar & hunt for eggs in the rain! It turned out to be good fun with just a tad of chaos which isn’t really surprising with little ones!

Easter has become a pretty popular holiday in our home, if you ask Owen it’s actually one of his favourites! And since we don’t have much family here we adopt our friends as family. We like to celebrate all holidays if only for our children, to see their faces light up with excitement. And as adults we like it because it’s our official way of welcoming Spring! Because after all this snow who wouldn’t be excited to see warm sunny days.

It was fun to gather with our friends & see some beautiful things come to life all while hanging out with our kids. Not to mention the fun stories we have to tell after, like Ella getting stuck in a thorn bush. Yup, always fun! Thank you to everyone who made it out & to everyone that contributed to this beautiful day adventure out at Rowena’s Inn. A day for the books thats for sure.
