Another fun holiday is around the corner. We love cooking big meals for holidays even if it means there is only the four of us. We still love it and appreciate it. And eat it all up! I love to set our beautiful table up and display it nice for our family. It was a long time dream to finally have a nice table of my own and we certainly make use of it.
The kids always love seeing things put together on the table. I once had a friend years back share a little secret with me… This was of course back before I had kids. And for some reason it really stuck with me.. She once said that “When I put together our table and display it. Have the food in nice dishes laid out on the table and sit down with my family. THEY EAT IT ALL!” It was like this magical thing. The kids would eat if it was nicely served to them… totally had me thinking. Yes, I’ve tested this to be true for my family as well!
This year we put together two different styles of table settings. One being more Spring, pink, bright and airy. The other being more earthy tones, minimal and still gorgeous!
I really do love them both equally! I love seeing it all come together and feeling of complete. Although once you add the food then it’s really complete. So I have to ask, which one matches your decor more??
