This little drive (well little for us) is one of my favourite drives to take every Summer because it leads us to this beautiful view of Manning Park. This little gem of a spot is Alpine Meadows. Located just across from the main lodge at Manning Park. It takes you up a windy road to this. We always stop here and enjoy the views before heading up the road a little further. Coming here every year reminds us even more just how thankful we are to live in this wonderful area!
…Just in case you’ve been debating whether or not to go visit the Chilliwack Sunflower Festival. I suggest you do so before they close! I debated it myself and had reservations about going, I mean how amazing could it really be. I was SO wrong in doubting it because it was WAY more incredible then I ever thought possible. For something like this it only seemed natural that Codi and I touch base on some SUPER easy to care for indoor plants. You know the ones that you can’t kill no matter how hard you try. Or not try! Needless to say we may not have the greenest thumb but we still really love house plants and greenery. We still try no matter what and there are plants out there for those of you who can’t keep any plants living for to long!…

Galentines Getaway At Rowena’s Inn
Plans may have changed a little this weekend. What was suppose to be a romantic night away with Drew, turned into a much deserved girls getaway!
This may sound a little sad but this was my first actual girls getaway since high school. My first one since having children and I just turned 30!!!! I know how sad is that. I spent it good I must say at the ever so gorgeous Pretty Estates Resort Rowena’s Inn by the river Bed & Breakfast. Let’s just say a girls getaway in your teens is much different when your in your 30’s that’s for sure. Really fun but priorities defiantly changed a bit! Like getting a huge bed to sprawl out on without children kicking you in your sleep or grabbing for a boob. Or when you get to drink hot coffee in bed without the worry of a child bumping into your elbow and spilling in on yourself. Or to be able to actually get a long enough shower to condition your hair…yup, times have changed!…
