Ella Lynne Turns 1

I know, I know where does the time go!? But, seriously, where does it go? It slips out of my fingers everyday. There are never enough minutes or hours in a day! It feels like yesterday we were eagerly anticipating the arrival of our little girl. In all honesty I have been waiting on her arrival for about 7 years…The moment I first found out I was pregnant I swore that I was having a girl. I bought everything for a  girl. I knew it was a girl, I was having a girl! So when we heard we were having a boy, our little Owen. It was ok because I knew in my heart that my little girl was coming. Sure enough she did!

Ella’s changed our family in a million ways. She’s made us feel whole and more complete. It’s a tough pill to swollen. The mix of emotions, wanting so badly for them to grow up and reach the next goal in life but also wanting them to stay in the moment and be babies forever. I love that everyday I wake up and she is nearby with a beaming smile or ready to scream at all of us! She’s our shining star! Ella is spoiled beyond belief with love and guidance. She’s a very lucky little girl to have so many people in her life that care and love her so much! Thank you to everyone who came out today and celebrated a very special birthday for our little girl. Days like today, bringing family and friends together means more to us than you will every know. xo
