A couple weekends ago we set our sights on Summerland Waterfront & Resort. We packed into the Honda Clarity and off we went! A scenic and easy ride it was. Kids got along in the back, it was awesome. This was our first time visiting Summerland and won’t be our last. We’ve come to grow quite fond of Okanagan Lake and the whole area throughout this beautiful place.
Of course, we made our first stop to get lunch in Summerland the cutest little town. Quick lunch spot, Yaki’s Pizza. Picked it up and headed to the closet beach to Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa, which was honestly walking distance. It was the perfect afternoon, just hanging out. Getting to really know the area around us for the next few days.
After that we headed to check in! This place was gorgeously located right on the lake, with a beach front corner connecting to a dock where you could rent out rentals for the day. Along the front was a walking trail leading to the beach we just sat on.
The pool and hot tub was also in front easily to access for guests to roam around and really make this place feel like home. Of course we stayed most of our time by the pool lounging and playing with the kids. We had sunny weather everyday. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.
Our room was two bedrooms with three beds. Perfect for the kids to have their own room! Then a full kitchen so some nights we made our own dinner and sat on the deck relaxing. Taking in that beautiful lakefront view. The living room was a great size for us. Bathrooms for the kids and one for us!
With a full gym and restaurants near by, you really dont need to do much moving around to really enjoy your stay at Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa.
We made our way around town and toured some great little farmers markets and bakeries. We made our way back to the beach that was nice and close to the resort. And we defiantly ordered more pizza, our favourite! Also, really happy to see that the resort had a charging station set up for charging cars. So the Honda Clarity that we used could sit there and charge for the day and be eco-friendly for us while getting around!

Okanagan Crush Pad | Giant Heads Hike | Yaki’s Pizza | The Kettle Railway
I really loved how family oriented this resort was. It was so awesome to have such a great stay with so many other kids playing around making friends with Owen & Ella. It was hard to say good-bye but also know that we will be making our way back to Summerland and visiting again real soon! So if your planning a trip that way and need accommodations I highly recommend checking this place out! It’s the best location from Penticton and an easy 30 minute drive from Kelowna!
