Into The Woods We Shall Go…

You all know how much I love photo sessions, it’s one of my favourite parts of blogging. But when you say to your family “We’re doing family photos” the joy gets a little sucked out of it with their reaction of pure crying. haha The kids cry and complain, outfits always get dirty right before photos, everyone looks in opposite directions or picking their nose (cough cough Ella!) It’s usually a battle that I’m always willing to fight for, because common…I fight for these photos so that our family will get to enjoy them for years!

It’s watching our lives move in photos and already I notice a difference from months ago to now. Our little ones are growing up and Drew and I are growing old! Yes, usually family photo sessions are a battle, but interestingly enough this one, this night turned out pretty great. I really didn’t have to argue with anyone out the door. Owen had just gotten a fresh haircut and Ella seemed to love dressing up just like a princess. Braids in her hair and all!

We met up with our friend Kaila Wren and ventured into the woods. High up on mountain about 30 minutes from our house which is already up a mountain! haha This girl trusted us and we shot in one of our favourite spots. I’ll be sharing the location soon in another post, along with other favourite spots in Chilliwack for photos! The night was so perfect. The weather the views, just perfect!
