“Daughters are like flowers, they fill our world with beauty”

These words ring so true to my ears. I loved the idea of having the girls come over for a impromptu photo shoot for our dear friend Sarah & children’s clothing line Isn’t She Lovely. It was quite the morning lets just say that, things don’t always go as planned, and when they don’t you improvise. You make the best out of it and work with what you got. Fortunately we got lucky, because it turned out way better then any of us thought I’m sure!

But these chaotic moments always make for a good laugh and story to tell. I guess you could say your “Making Memories!”. Four little ones under three and three moms managing them plus organizing photos, outfits, bolting babies, crazy toddlers, snacks on top of that taking photos! Crazy you might say, to us challenge accepted! haha It’s the best part of collaborating. It pushes us to bring out the best, especially under pressure from toddlers. Gotta work fast and play smart! And also remembering that these moments are never as perfect as the picture looks. Not going to mention the crazy ass amounts of dust bunnies that appeared!

I’ve always been such a huge fan of Sarah’s pieces and after this shoot it has made me a huge fan of Codi’s from Creative Wife Joyful Worker’s photo skills. Yes, these were all done by her. She managed to figure out what the shit was happening on my camera, snap these and edit them! Impressed! But with the co-operation from the three of us, I have to say we nailed this shoot! And may I say with a tad bit of hesitation and a huge amount of excitement, I can’t wait for the next…. Because these pictures of our sweet daughters is what totally makes it worth it! Love these girls.
