Navy Is The New Black
This feature was inspired by a local shop owner, when I visited her store to find the perfect little booties. She helped me search & advised me like any other friend or fashion adviser would. With one word she mentioned ‘Navy’, and that was it. I could not stop thinking about that one word…
A work week for me consists of being decked out in all black head to toe. As an esthetician this is what I’m required to wear as uniform. Which is very well likely that on my days off I’m pretty tired of the colour black. I feel like I shouldn’t be, black is the ‘Go To’ colour for soo many. Am I right? I love black but I’m now thinking Navy Is The New Black for me! It’s easy to wear, matches with a lot of neutrals and it still brings that bold colour. I love how it helps make those accessories pop & vibrate in it’s shades.
Having somewhat of a simple style in my closet, my New Years resolution is to start updating it. Bring in some fun pieces that I normally wouldn’t and pop out of my grey/black/white shell a little. I want to create fun ‘Adult’ looking outfits, especially since my 30th is around the corner I feel the need for the grown up update! With saying good-bye to my twenties this year I’m looking forward to stepping up my look just a little!
Any New Years Resolutions for yourself??
