There’s a new FlyOver Canada coming to Vancouver’s location at Canada Place. The Real Wild West, running from April 21st to June 26th. It will cover many of the Western American iconic landscapes including Yellowstone National Park, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Oregon’s Cascade Volcanic Arc and San Francisco’s biggest surfing waves captured on film 20 years ago.
This film is projected on a 20 meter spherical screen with a moving platform so while sitting in your seat you can move with the ride all while feeling mist, air and scents of the areas. This screening was filmed in some of the most popular destinations by helicopter in high defination places like Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Montana, California, Arizona, New Mexico and Utah.
The Wild West ride was shot by award winning film director Dave Massop of Whistler based Sherpas Cinema who is also behind many of the great FlyOver Canada films. As well as the original score composed by Grammy Nominated Tom Holkenborg. The pre-show was created by Montreal based entertainment studios Moment Factory really gets the show started!
