Storm Chaser Feature Wall with Rocky Mountain Decals | Owens Room

Back again with some more wallpaper inspiration!

I simply love Rocky Mountain Decals wallpaper and decals. They always offer the best selection and when it arrives its so easy for me to do. I never worry or stress out about applying it. It’s so easy to do. It comes in rolls wrapped up in a box and I open it up. Each sheet in the roll comes numbered according to keep it really organized. Then it’s a sticky wallpaper that doesn’t destroy walls or stretch out. It keeps it shape perfectly and if you do mess up it makes it so easy to lift and reapply to get the most even and perfect straight line.

This time around, we decided to vamp up Owens room and a very large feature wall he has. For the most part he’s kept his room pretty bland, the way he likes it hahaha. But when I suggested the Storm Chaser wallpaper he was totally into it. So we gave it a go! Very happy we did because he loved it when it was all up.

BEFORE

I started this one while he was at school so I could surprise him when he got home. Our kids love love love getting room surprises. We do this a lot because it makes them so excited. A special touch to their room that represents their personalities the most. It’s they’re little spot that they can show their own personal style and a reflection who they really are. Our Owen has opened up his mind to the fun possibilities of colour in his room and that makes me so happy.

AFTER

Storm chaser is a great colour for any room but most importantly any teenagers room!

I decided to also add in some vintage pieces, the handmade letter board Drew and I make. Plus, just some of his treasured items around the room. We always have a Vitruvi diffusing in his room. This one is the Move diffuser in Terracotta. This one you can move from room to room and later it can be recharged for the next day! Owens favourite scents are Lavender & Ylang Ylang. My two favourites too.

Storm Chaser is a perfect colour and image for a boys room. The closer I got to it, it almost looks like game pixels and Ella even mentioned it looked like TV static. It’s pretty cool and the way the colours of blue ombre throughout. It totally suites our guys room. It took me no time really to do, a good 45 minutes and it was done. The fastest and easiest way to give a feature wall some charm. Make sure to check out Rocky Mountain Decals for more fantastic colours and prints for any room. Wallpaper & decals!
