I seriously loveee taking photos. One of the best memorable things ever when working with photographers! On top of that I always love mixing things up for our photos and being creative. Finding the beauty in things you wouldn’t normally! Walls around our area have a lot of creative and artistic beauty to them. Like I said, I love to find the beauty in things you wouldn’t normally. Sometimes just adding a pop of colour or print can make a whirl of difference when it comes to your photos, whether it be just a family session or for the gram. Either way its a really fun way to make your photo pop and give it a little life!
I have been putting together a collection of photos with walls in the Chilliwack & Abbotsford area that I love to visit and drive by just to see. I mean this isn’t every wall in the area there are tons more to visit to! These ones are ones that I frequently like to visit and get asked about a lot. So these are directions on where each wall is located. And hoping you visit them as well, take your photos and be sure to share them with me. I would love to see them!
Trust me theres no trespassing with any of these, but I will warn you if not there at the right time of day it can get pretty busy. So I would probably say visit first thing in the morning or later in the evening before sun goes down! Learn from my mistake!! hahaha Bonus while your in the area of any of these walls, there are lots of coffee shops and donuts to pick up along the way to make it even more fun!

CHILLIWACK
- PURPLE WITH A PURPOSE
This wall is one of my faveeesssss. The purple is so gorgeous! You can find this one downtown Chilliwack, behind The Bookman. It’s in between that and the Dark Magic Game shop. There is a gate so I would recommend going throughout the day when the shop is open!
- THE EAGLE HAS LANDED
I love this wall! Honestly you drive by it and yahhh it sure does look ugly. But there is something so fun about this artwork that makes it look beautiful in photos. Maybe I’m wrong either way I love it. This one you can find in Chilliwack right across from Kens Tire & Wheels on Alexander Street.
- PINK WALL
Simple just the pink wall. It has done some magical things for me and my photos. There are so many different ways to make this pink stand out. And just around the corner is a slight touch of pastel blue, its perfect! It’s located on the corner of Cooke Street & Victoria Ave Chilliwack.
- MINTED MUSE
Gosh this wall snuck up out of nowhere! Love the colour and how these photos came out! Find this wall Hodgins & School Street.
- FLOWER POWER
Last one I may be a little biased but it’s at my home! I love this floral covered wall. It’s literally the pretties spot in my home. So bright!
ABBOTSFORD
- LADY WITH THE UMBRELLA
I drive by her so much that I added it to my list of must visits. She’s gorgeous. Clearbrook exit in Abbotsford. You can’t miss her!
- MEAT & BREAD
Just your basic everyday neutral coloured wall. It totally reminds me of a Magnolia Wall! If you love Fixer Upper as much as I do you’ll know what I mean. And it is located just behind Meat & Bread.
- CUT OUTS
Another favourite literally on the corner of Champagne & Lace. Nice and subtle but with lots of character!
- BATTER UP
This one I call the “Baseball wall” only because its literally baseball players painted on the wall in really pretty pastel colours. But if you hit the wall just perfectly you can’t even notice them, just the blend of colours! This wall is on the corner Essendene & Pauline Street. Just across the way from the Dollar Store.
- HIGHSTREET
Seems a little different and pretty public butttt, I’m telling you the neutral coloured walls are pretty ideal. Sometimes you can even get lucky and they’ll have different words on the walls or murals to capture! I have a lot of fun there.
