Harrison Hot Springs Visit For Mom

A few short weeks ago I got treated to a wonderful Mothers Day overnight treat. It was needed a little to much I think. I brought along my trustee husband, the person I barely ever get to see let alone have alone time with. It was the perfect way to start off Mothers Day. Spending it with my bestie!

We arrived at our hotel the Harrison Beach Hotel to a massive oversized room with this view above. Started off good! With everything in walking distance we set off for dinner at Morgans which was located just below our hotel. Soo handy needless to say drinks were in hand! We spent a lovely dinner catching up and stuffing our bellies with an amazing three course meal. Desserts were my favourite of course, a nice tasty platter of all the best!

Since moving to Chilliwack, Harrison has always been a hot destination for us in the Summer time with the kids. But it was just as great in the off season, still lots of things happening and lots to tour around and see. After dinner we made our way around the boardwalk for a walk and dip into the Harrison Hot Springs mineral pool. With lots of time ahead of us like most parents all we really wanted was junk food, tv and our jammies. So we headed back to our hotel for a relaxing night in with just that!

Waking up at the crack of dawn, like most parents who probably thought about their children al night like we did. First thing was first. Coffee! We headed to Muddy Waters for a couple of coffees for our way home just to top of the trip! Short and sweet, but just enough to leave feeling refreshed and back to normal. Connecting with my husband for Mothers Day was the perfect gift I could ever ask for. Strange I know but with a busy schedule sometimes we forget to stop and smell that fresh air! Harrison Hot Springs helped us do just that!
