Wildflowers Blooming | Cultus Lake Flower Fest

You guys!!

August 10th this beautiful location opens up to the public to visit and enjoy. So excited we were able to catch a little sneak peek of Cultus Lake Flower Festival and it was beyond beautiful. So many little sweet flower spots surprising us with every turn. Of course, we took photos! A lot of photos! Because with babies and wildflowers that was a given.

Located in Yarrow just driving through to Cultus you will find this gem. Family owned and grown. Tickets are online here… Cultus Lake Flower Festival Tickets open all of August with their last opening day being September 1st.

I defiantly suggest visiting in the evening with the sunsetting in the background makes for a lovely photo opportunity and just simply to enjoy and take it all in!

The three of us stopped by and collaborated together taking photos of our girls. Snapping photos whenever we had the chance of each other. By far one of the most fun collaborative evenings in a long time!

Nothing like playing around in wildflowers getting creative with friends. I’m very lucky to be surrounded by supportive ladies who also love nights like this with me. Below you’ll find images from last night taken by me and if you go ahead and visit @juliechristinephotography & @kailawrenphotography you will I’m sure see some more!

Best Friends At The Park

These two girls have been friends for more than half of their lives. Instant friendship. They’re so similar in so many ways. The sisters they don’t have! They are the cutest little duo together. I’m so thankful for a quick DM to Vanessa like three years ago to hang out and work together on some photos. It has taken us through years of friendship for the four of us! So awesome!

10 Favourite Photo Walls | Chilliwack To Abbotsford

I seriously loveee taking photos. One of the best memorable things ever when working with photographers! On top of that I always love mixing things up for our photos and being creative. Finding the beauty in things you wouldn’t normally! Walls around our area have a lot of creative and artistic beauty to them. Like I said, I love to find the beauty in things you wouldn’t normally. Sometimes just adding a pop of colour or print can make a whirl of difference when it comes to your photos, whether it be just a family session or for the gram. Either way its a really fun way to make your photo pop and give it a little life!

I have been putting together a collection of photos with walls in the Chilliwack & Abbotsford area that I love to visit and drive by just to see. I mean this isn’t every wall in the area there are tons more to visit to! These ones are ones that I frequently like to visit and get asked about a lot. So these are directions on where each wall is located. And hoping you visit them as well, take your photos and be sure to share them with me. I would love to see them!

Trust me theres no trespassing with any of these, but I will warn you if not there at the right time of day it can get pretty busy. So I would probably say visit first thing in the morning or later in the evening before sun goes down! Learn from my mistake!! hahaha Bonus while your in the area of any of these walls, there are lots of coffee shops and donuts to pick up along the way to make it even more fun!

The scavenger hunt of photo walls… have fun!

FRESH GARDEN BLOOMS

Well I’m no pro when it comes to gardening, my whole family has been blessed with that “Green Thumb” except for me. It’s really the funniest thing. I try, let me tell you, I give it my all, but despite my better efforts I FAIL! I have so much nurturing to give, it just doesn’t work out for me!…

Tulips Of The Valley

Once again the Tulip season is upon us. I never grew up knowing a Tulip Festival, I actually had no idea what this was when we first moved to the Lower Mainland. This is my second year ever experiencing a Tulip Festival. I’m literally blown away by the beauty, hard work and dedication that goes into making these fields the way that they are. It’s truly such a beautiful scene to see! Lined up row by row in a rainbow of colours gives an overpowering feeling of gratitude for the many things we get to share in the Fraser Valley!…

Navy Is The New Black

This feature was inspired by a local shop owner, when I visited her store to find the perfect little booties. She helped me search & advised me like any other friend or fashion adviser would. With one word she mentioned ‘Navy’, and that was it. I could not stop thinking about that one word……
