Well, it’s something we all say to ourselves or think inside our heads. All the things we want when we buy our home. Yah, know, the dream things… like white kitchens and sound proof walls. How windows overlook certain areas. I remember when we used to rent and we would dream all the things homeowners get to enjoy. The little things that make life just a little easier at home.
Giveaway Closed Congratulations Jaime Hughes!!
Happy Fathers Day Month! Dads deserve a whole month of celebrating to because they also work really hard! They are always working their butts off and they too need to be given lots of love.
Fathers Day to me, is an important one. Because I love being able to show our little ones how special it is to really give a whole day appreciating the person that is also raising them. To really make sure they know how much they need to give their love to him all the time.
At 24 years old Drew became a Dad for the first time and it was one of the most amazing times in his and my life. Not only did we have a new baby to take care of but I was able to see this brand new, special side of Drew. It was the most meaningful moments for the both of us.
It was like he opened his eyes for the first time and could breathe. He loves being a dad. He loves sharing his love with us. And I can say, that I know this man would do anything for his family. So the least we could do is celebrate him and share this amazing giveaway of his favourites to a special dad that you know!
All dads deserve to be spoiled to!
Cultus Lake Golf Course.
Drew loves golfing here. Mind you time isn’t always there, but when he does he loves these greens and the beautiful views. Not to mention the brand new Top Tracer Lounge you can rent with up to six friends and enjoy a little afternoon hanging out hitting some balls in the driving range! Fully set up with heaters, drinks, music and really just a good time all around!
Fraser Valley Meats.
Drew spends every weekend here. At least once a weekend. He disappears and comes out with all kinds of goodies to make the best BBQ’s. He’s always filling up our bellies with some delicious meals from here. Also, really love the kids shopping carts and play area. And while your in there you can grab all kinds of stuff, everything you need to make an excellent meal with family and friends. Couple of must buys… the chicken pot pie and maui ribs!!!
Nine Kitchen & Lounge.
Did someone say PIZZAA?? This spot just recently opened up in Abbotsford and we had the chance to visit it over the weekend. Such a sweet little gem! Outdoor seating for warm nights and cute little spots to sit at inside. The menu was loaded with food and drinks! I’m pretty sure Drew wanted to marry the pizza served here. It was his absolute favourite he could not stop talking about how much he loved it!

I seriously loveee taking photos. One of the best memorable things ever when working with photographers! On top of that I always love mixing things up for our photos and being creative. Finding the beauty in things you wouldn’t normally! Walls around our area have a lot of creative and artistic beauty to them. Like I said, I love to find the beauty in things you wouldn’t normally. Sometimes just adding a pop of colour or print can make a whirl of difference when it comes to your photos, whether it be just a family session or for the gram. Either way its a really fun way to make your photo pop and give it a little life!
I have been putting together a collection of photos with walls in the Chilliwack & Abbotsford area that I love to visit and drive by just to see. I mean this isn’t every wall in the area there are tons more to visit to! These ones are ones that I frequently like to visit and get asked about a lot. So these are directions on where each wall is located. And hoping you visit them as well, take your photos and be sure to share them with me. I would love to see them!
Trust me theres no trespassing with any of these, but I will warn you if not there at the right time of day it can get pretty busy. So I would probably say visit first thing in the morning or later in the evening before sun goes down! Learn from my mistake!! hahaha Bonus while your in the area of any of these walls, there are lots of coffee shops and donuts to pick up along the way to make it even more fun!
The scavenger hunt of photo walls… have fun!…
Just in case you’ve been debating whether or not to go visit the Chilliwack Sunflower Festival. I suggest you do so before they close! I debated it myself and had reservations about going, I mean how amazing could it really be. I was SO wrong in doubting it because it was WAY more incredible then I ever thought possible. The rows and the heights. The colours and the beauty. Amazing. I loved every minute of it. It covers such a big space and there you will find lots for the kids to do. …
Alright parents, let’s get our Back to School thinking caps on. I know it’s so hard to admit that Summer may soon be over. But good news, once it is, it means all those little ones will be heading BACK TO SCHOOL. I’m slightly excited and slightly nervous, just as if it’s my first day back to school. Wondering if I bought everything they need, and thinking did I forget anything……
You all know how much I love photo sessions, it’s one of my favourite parts of blogging. But when you say to your family “We’re doing family photos” the joy gets a little sucked out of it with their reaction of pure crying. haha The kids cry and complain, outfits always get dirty right before photos, everyone looks in opposite directions or picking their nose (cough cough Ella!) It’s usually a battle that I’m always willing to fight for, because common…I fight for these photos so that our family will get to enjoy them for years!…
