This Pink Heart Cardigan was sitting in my Chic Wish cart for what felt like a million years. I sat pondering and debating actually purchasing it for a really long time before I clicked “pay”. Like many of you probably would have felt. I was SO nervous of what might actually come, would I like it? would it fit? would I get dinged for duties?? SO many things came to mind beforehand.

Every year this is the place to be on hot Summer days! Lucky for us it’s right in our own backyard. But making sure to get there or after the hectic crowds is our specialty! We’ve kind of perfected it at this point. It can get very busy in this area, so we normally scoot down just before bedtime letting the kids get an evening dip in. Still so late in the evening it’s still been very hot and very sunny so its been wonderful this year!

Another year, another Summer and another visit to Cultus Lake Flower Festival! We had so graciously been invited this year to visit again and us girls were over the moon and literally couldn’t wait to explore the fields of flowers. Last year went so amazing so of course we had to go back again and see this years flourish florals.
Located in Yarrow just a 5 minute drive from Cultus, nestled right close to mountain ranges lives this beautiful place. Locally owned and grown, this flower festival is one of my favourites to visit. Not only can you find a bizillion little and big flowers but it is also such a chill and relaxed place to enjoy while watching the sunset. Located in just the centre of it all are picnic tables and a spacious grassy field to wander around.
I love love love flowers of all sorts and wish that I had a green thumb. I do not. So this place gives me all the excitement. Randomly spread around and it has this special neat but also scattered real feel to a wildflower feel that I’ve never experienced before other than actually being out in nature. Cultus Lake Flower Festival gives all kinds of serene feels and it’s just a great place to spend a Summer evening.

August 10th this beautiful location opens up to the public to visit and enjoy. So excited we were able to catch a little sneak peek of Cultus Lake Flower Festival and it was beyond beautiful. So many little sweet flower spots surprising us with every turn. Of course, we took photos! A lot of photos! Because with babies and wildflowers that was a given.
Located in Yarrow just driving through to Cultus you will find this gem. Family owned and grown. Tickets are online here… Cultus Lake Flower Festival Tickets open all of August with their last opening day being September 1st.
I defiantly suggest visiting in the evening with the sunsetting in the background makes for a lovely photo opportunity and just simply to enjoy and take it all in!
The three of us stopped by and collaborated together taking photos of our girls. Snapping photos whenever we had the chance of each other. By far one of the most fun collaborative evenings in a long time!
Nothing like playing around in wildflowers getting creative with friends. I’m very lucky to be surrounded by supportive ladies who also love nights like this with me. Cultus Lake WaterPark
Well, we kick started this Summer into full gear with a family group waterpark trip to our favourite local spot Cultus Lake Waterpark. It’s one place that we visit every Summer ever since Owen was little and we always leave with smiling faces. This year was a little more special for us because our little Ella could really fall in love with so many rides and truly experience the play areas. She had such a great time exploring the kid area and even getting to ride a few bigger slides herself! Our little girl is growing up.…
My children love to be mini hostesses. I mean I totally understand where they get it from. Watching me set up for parties, get togethers or just helping me set up for dinner. They totally watch and lead by example, so when it comes to movie nights they love to help set up and get the party started. They love getting out the fancy dishes for their treats and drinks, lay out everything so nicely for us to enjoy!…
