A few weeks ago myself and three other girlfriends of mine decided we could really use a girls night out. It’s honestly no secret my love and drive for coffee. It’s the first thing that greets me in the morning. But I have to tell you a funny little fact, I actually didn’t have my first cup of coffee until the age of 22. Thats when it first tasted like the heavens opened up and I could see the light. It was also the same time that I became a mom for the first time, with our little Owen. I hated coffee up until the year I became a mom! It helped me survive many sleepless nights with my babes. And it’s still continuing too help with my survival most days.
To celebrate some new recent coffee shop openings and the cuteness it holds. I decided to share some local Chilliwack coffee shops you HAVE to visit. These spots are perfect to chill out with a group of friends or even solo. I will be that person working in a coffee shop drinking my caffeine solo. Ain’t no shame in the solo coffee drinking game!
They all give that same sense of cozy home feeling, that feeling of knowing whatever caffeine drink you order, they’ll make it just as good or even better than anything else you could make at home. I love the feel of also just getting out of the house and feeling some new fresh air visiting a new spot. Meeting new treats to eat and to take home.
I love the feeling of supporting local coffee shops and giving them the love they deserve for giving us quality, good tasting coffee. It’s great to have our little/big city expanding and with it also expanding it’s places to grab a warm drink. These coffee shops I’m sharing today are in no order of how much I like them, it’s in a random order. Because I love them all the same. Each one carries a different and calming feel when you visit. Each one offers just something different that I love. So yes, I do recommend visiting each one!
And I thank my first born for getting me hooked on liquid gold, we all call coffee! hahaha

When I say we love Chilliwack, we overly loveee Chilliwack when it’s Tulip season because it has the most beautiful Tulip Festival I’ve ever been to! So yes, it’s beauty in our backyard! Every year we love to visit, run around and take it all in because the season is never longgg enough.

I seriously loveee taking photos. One of the best memorable things ever when working with photographers! On top of that I always love mixing things up for our photos and being creative. Finding the beauty in things you wouldn’t normally! Walls around our area have a lot of creative and artistic beauty to them. Like I said, I love to find the beauty in things you wouldn’t normally. Sometimes just adding a pop of colour or print can make a whirl of difference when it comes to your photos, whether it be just a family session or for the gram. Either way its a really fun way to make your photo pop and give it a little life!
I have been putting together a collection of photos with walls in the Chilliwack & Abbotsford area that I love to visit and drive by just to see. I mean this isn’t every wall in the area there are tons more to visit to! These ones are ones that I frequently like to visit and get asked about a lot. So these are directions on where each wall is located. And hoping you visit them as well, take your photos and be sure to share them with me. I would love to see them!
Trust me theres no trespassing with any of these, but I will warn you if not there at the right time of day it can get pretty busy. So I would probably say visit first thing in the morning or later in the evening before sun goes down! Learn from my mistake!! hahaha Bonus while your in the area of any of these walls, there are lots of coffee shops and donuts to pick up along the way to make it even more fun!

Fresh Prep Comes To Chilliwack
Exciting news for our local friends, meal delivery service Fresh Prep just recently announced that they are now delivering to Chilliwack. I can’t tell you how many years I’ve been waiting for this. Usually, when I go to purchase local things like this not ,any many come to this area. Having it is such a life saviour for our busy family. Not only is everything prepackaged and recipe included but the meal ideas are something that I struggle with. Fresh prep plans it all out for you! Hardly any work or thinking involved.

Sunflowers Sunflowers Everywhere!
Just in case you’ve been debating whether or not to go visit the Chilliwack Sunflower Festival. I suggest you do so before they close! I debated it myself and had reservations about going, I mean how amazing could it really be. I was SO wrong in doubting it because it was WAY more incredible then I ever thought possible.
