Everything You Need To Have The Best Girls Night Out On Robson Street

As soon as I hear GIRLS NIGHT, I’m in! Like all in!

Because for myself “girls night” doesn’t happen all the time so when the opportunity arises I do my best to make it happen. Life gets busy, Drew works shift work, kids have tons going on and we just can’t seem to make it work as much as we like to. But when we do, it’s like, why didn’t we do this sooner. Or we need to make this happen more often. We all need that time away to decompress, settle down and not worry about stressful situations that happen in life. A getaway is always a good idea for anyone on any occasion!

Sooo myself and two other friends of mine Julie & Michaela had the chance to sneak away from kids, husbands, chores… and it felt SO nice to have that adult time. Robson Street spoiled us, and for a change it felt good to be the one spoiled and not spoiling someone else like we subconsciously do. We stayed the night at the Blue Horizon Hotel, located right on Robson Street. It was so conveniently placed right around everything you need to make a girls night really special and fun. Including lots of stores to shop at and a lot of food to dig into!

The Blue Horizon had the most breathtaking view, with the busy feel of excitement all around us. I love the city, I love the views and I love the feel of the hustle and bustle. Our room was so spacious lots of space for roaming around and unwinding. The bed was extremely comfy and I’m happy to say we all slept past 8am! The pool & hot tub was also a bonus to visit, we can still be kids away without kids right!? haha

As soon as we unpacked we headed straight to some good old fashion SHOPPING. Which is such a treat when with friends. We visited all of our favourites like Blue Ruby, Zara, Aritzia, Sage, Sephora and of course the brand new Indigo, which looks amazing inside replacing the old Forever 21 store! I must say to, I for sure started some of my Christmas shopping on this trip. It was just a smart thing to do! haha But I defiantly treated myself as well with Levi Jeans from Aritzia, sweaters from Zara and a little treat from Indigo! We took our time aimlessly browsing, discovering everything Robson Street has to offer and just really enjoying the quality time with each other.

We headed to Joe Fortes for a very nice home cooked meal. Serving all my favourites steak and seafood. This was my first time eating here and I can honestly say that I was just in aweee the whole time. The business and happy energy. The cozy feel and decorations just added to everything else there. All of our meals were very good. I had the Seafood Stew and I could hardly stop to breath. It was incredible, the best Seafood Stew I’ve ever had. After this course we indulged a little with a trio of desserts. So many to choose from we couldn’t dare just choose one so the selection was cheesecake, creme brûlée, biscotti and a couple other tasty things. All so delicious!  And how do you walk off a good meal…. of course some more shopping & coffee!

Chatting until late at night!

In the morning we headed downstairs to Blue Horizon Hotel restaurant ABODE. Easy and super convenient. Breakfast was delicious as well. Just what we needed! As always, along the way on Robson Street you will find so many treasures to visit, I quite often love sneaking into Laduree for a sweet treat and recently opened for high tea Laurence & Chico.

Theres no need to set a schedule just walk and enjoy theres something for everyone along here and trust me you will find something!
