Boating Adventures with Cultus Lake Marina

Another Summer another perfect day visiting Cultus Lake Marina. Today I’m sharing our visit with them and everything you need to know before venturing there for a serious fun filled day with family and friends. We went last year and it was number one day on our list and yet again this year it tops it just like last year! Every once in awhile the kids will remember a quick memory of our visit and we miss it already! hahaha

This is quite literally the perfect set up for anyone who enjoys driving a boat and lounging on a lake. Cultus Lake is also set up so nicely that theres hardly any fear of it being to busy or getting caught in unknown places that you’ll get scared of getting out of. The lake is pretty straight forward! And it’s also SO warm right now it makes for a beautiful swim.

When you arrive everyone signs in, fills out paper work, gets fitted for life jackets and the main drivers of the boat with go over with one of the employees safety rules and restrictions. As well as how to drive the beautiful beast. Super easy and nothing to be scared of for first timers! Once your all geared up you can choose to whether you like to rent accessories like a tube, wakeboard etc. We went with the tube for the boys!

Everyone then just jumps on board and gets ready to go! Remember to pack plenty of food for the time your there and also NO ALCOHOL at all allowed on the boat.  Alright so wind in our hair and were off…. Drew took us for a little spin around just to view everything and the boys then hoped on the tube. I think that was their favourite part, they could’ve done that all day! Then we’d just stop the boat jump in and swim, eat, swim, tube ride, boat ride, repeat! hahaha

Our family had the opportunity to drive the 7 person and we had it out for the full three hours. If you have more time I defiantly recommend staying out longer because time flies out in the middle of the lake with the kids. SO MUCH FUN! Time just disappeared so quickly. Little things to you don’t need to have your boat license because they provide that there for you and you have to be 18 years or older to drive. Season runs from May 21, 2018 – Sept 21, 2018. You still have plenty of time to visit. And if you have any other questions feel free to email me or give them a call! Super helpful and friendly staff. For sure a must to go and our favourite place to be!
