Our Family Day Exploring Destination Cultus Lake

Cultus Lake WaterPark

Well, we kick started this Summer into full gear with a family group waterpark trip to our favourite local spot Cultus Lake Waterpark. It’s one place that we visit every Summer ever since Owen was little and we always leave with smiling faces. This year was a little more special for us because our little Ella could really fall in love with so many rides and truly experience the play areas. She had such a great time exploring the kid area and even getting to ride a few bigger slides herself! Our little girl is growing up.

Owen found some of his school buddies here playing and well he took off only venturing back for lunch from the canteen inside the waterpark there! haha Then came back again for some ice cream! They also have a little candy shop and coffee bar. You are pretty much set up to be where you are all day and not have to leave the park.

If you venture out to the waterpark you need to try the banana boat ride. It was by far the funnest ride and even our little Ella went on it without even crying! We spent from morning until late afternoon playing here with the kids. They slept soo good for us that night. A day well spent!

Cultus Lake Adventure Park

Cultus Lake is a one spot destination for both play parks. We spent the whole day at the waterpark so because we live so close we decided to spend another whole day just exploring the Adventure Park. Both are right across the street from each other so if you are from out of town its very easy to spend one half of your day at one spot and then walk across the street and spend your other half of the day at the other!

Every theme ride was tested by our family and let me tell you, SO MUCH FUN! Just imagine being a kid again and go crazy in this place. The rollercoaster, the swings, mini golf! We had to experience this on another whole day and our family spent five hours exploring this place! I even got to ride so many this year because Ella is so grown up and at a perfect age to ride many of them. Wahoo!

If your coming from out of town then splitting up your day is such a wonderful idea, with the adventure park open late you can spend a whole day and evening making memories with your families during Summer Break! Add both of these to your Summer Time Bucket List
