Exercising and keeping healthy habits has defiantly changed for me over the years. From no kids to having kids, it’s hard to maintain those habits. I’ve always really enjoyed practising yoga, since I was 16 years old. My mother had volunteered me to sign up for a evening class with I was in high school. Stressed to my max I fought every inch of my way there not wanting to go! Until that is, after my first class. I fell in love with it and realized after that one hour just how beneficial it was for my health. I may not have worked up a sweat but leaving with peace of mind was all I needed!
I tried to maintain a regular routine but you all know easier said then done. I’ve done mediation, vinyasa, pre-natal, post natal and now for the first time ever Ella and I have been enjoying the Toddler Yoga with Daisy from Namaste Hiking Co.. Located at Studio B Yoga every Tuesday morning for the last 4 weeks and we will be continuing on to do another 4 weeks thats how much fun we’re having there. Daisy is the owner of Namaste Hiking Co. and has started this program as a way to explore fun exercises, breathing techniques, games, poses and relaxation exercise through playfulness and fun. Providing bonding time between you and your child. All helping to promote social, sensory and motor skills!
Each class is routinely set up and practised including each toddler. With special activities and poses, including some nice downtime to end the class with a mediation cuddle. It’s been so nice to finally have time to go with her and spend this quality time together. For her to meet new friends, have routine and make ourselves at home with the chill relaxed vibes at the Studio!
