Galentines Getaway At Rowena’s Inn
Plans may have changed a little this weekend. What was suppose to be a romantic night away with Drew, turned into a much deserved girls getaway!
This may sound a little sad but this was my first actual girls getaway since high school. My first one since having children and I just turned 30!!!! I know how sad is that. I spent it good I must say at the ever so gorgeous Pretty Estates Resort Rowena’s Inn by the river Bed & Breakfast. Let’s just say a girls getaway in your teens is much different when your in your 30’s that’s for sure. Really fun but priorities defiantly changed a bit! Like getting a huge bed to sprawl out on without children kicking you in your sleep or grabbing for a boob. Or when you get to drink hot coffee in bed without the worry of a child bumping into your elbow and spilling in on yourself. Or to be able to actually get a long enough shower to condition your hair…yup, times have changed!
To be totally honest we spent the evening like any other girls night face masks, treats & girl talk but with a 10pm bedtime! It was totally fun having those life revelations with your girlfriend, opening up and realizing “Holy, you to!?” It was such a refreshing night away to eat & sleep in peace. Soo peaceful & Rowena’s Inn is seriously the perfect little getaway!
Most of you already know my love for this place, but after this past getaway my passion & love for it grew even more. It carries so much history, so much love & really caters to your every need. Which was totally what us two exhausted moms needed!
The long owned histocical Inn has been handed down through the “Pretty” family tree. Keeping tradition alive with it’s five bedrooms located inside the Inn all named after family members & cozy rustic cottages just outside. We spent time inside the Inn and gazed at all the antiques including pieces from castles & once pieces at the original Hotel Vancouver. You’ll also notice hallways of photos of the family history! It was so fun learning more about the history and how it all came to be! We felt like we went back in time…
We stayed in one of the television free, rustic luxury cottages the Carol Anne. Minutes from the restaurant & award winning golf course Sandpiper. With wood burning fireplace, a spacious bathroom with heated floors and jacuzzi tub. Pretty estates is filled with exciting history and filled with jaw dropping antiques!
Dinner & breakfast were just the best part. Being able to enjoy a three course meal with a glass of wine had us in heaven. The service was excellent and with a full menu it would keep you full for a long time! We both felt incredibly spoiled and well taken care of here. It’s the perfect getaway destination for any occasion & season! Rooms starting at With it’s breathtaking views of Harrison river and background mountains you’ll be anxious to visit again.. I know I am!!
