DIY | Flower Crown

Processed with VSCO with f2 preset

I’m really proud of this DIY. I had a struggle when it was Ella’s first birthday, her beautiful fresh cut floral crown. It was so beautiful and it broke my heart when it started to die. I do however still have it! I loved it that much. When the idea popped into my head last week about having them for my bridal shower yesterday, the thought of them all withering away was kind of sad and also the cost to order can be fairly high.

I made a trip to the dollar store and bought some items that I thought would make it work. They turned out even better than I imagined, and they are a long lasting souvenir of a beautiful day spent with family & friends.

What You Need:

  • Glue Gun
  • Artificial Flowers
  • Flower Tape
  • Twine
  • Metal Wire

I made 11 floral crowns for $12!! I first measured the metal wire around to fit my head, with some extra room and wrapped it with twine. I cut the flowers down and the leafs & placed them around and really got creative! So easy it really doesn’t even need instructions!
